Film Making Courses

Parents of budding film makers cringe at their child's choice of career for a number of reasons. First, they are concerned that the child will end up flipping burgers in a fast food joint for the rest of their lives. After all, for every Quentin Tarantino there are twenty five Andy Shaffers who are just not going to make it. Most parents encourage their children's dreams as much as possible, but after they start investigating the cost of Film College, they may start thinking it would be cheaper just to fund the filmmaking directly without bothering with the film courses at all. It is just not the cost of the filmmaking itself that has to be investigated and invested in; there are additional costs as well.

Film College is expensive and there are several options to consider. There is film education that is the major course of study in the overall, general college experience. While this is a well rounded education, it is not only expensive but can be very trying for the student, especially if they are not one for conventional school and classes. In addition to the cost of the tuition though, there will be the costs of books and other learning materials to consider. If the school is not local there is the cost of travel to and from as well as the cost of living at the school, including meals and lodging.

In addition to these costs for film education, there are also costs for the equipment that the student will need. While enrolled in film college, students can usually utilize cameras, lights and other equipment in the school although many will prefer their own set ups. Even used equipment can be very expensive, and can sometimes be harder to find, especially in smaller areas.

Film education can also be expensive because it is so exclusive and difficult to get in. The aspiring film student might need to apply several years in a row trying to get in to the film college in the first place. To apply, most schools require an admission fee as well as a short film clip or other example of their work, meaning there is a need for film equipment before the education even starts. Even renting or borrowing these items can be very costly; especially if the short film is going to take a long time to actually be shot. Visit A2viz.com.vn/

No Budget Film Making is one of the only low cost alternatives to the various types of film school or film making education. Film education is very expensive and can be very heart breaking as well. Not everyone is going to make a blockbuster movie, but everyone should get the chance to try. If the cost of film school is stopping your visions from coming to life, there are cheaper alternatives available that will help develop your movie training without breaking the bank.

There is no set answer to any of these questions at all, after all, there are other factors that can determine whether or not you have what it takes to even get into a film college in the first place and how well you will do once you get there. Simply attending a school and completing a program does not give you carte blanch for anything in this world and there are many gifted film makers who will never make a single project come to life.

For many people, going to film college is not only the best way to get the information that they need and do not have, but to develop strong, professional bonds that can help them get the foot in the door in a very tough business to break into. The professional networking that people can do in their film college experience can last the rest of their lives, not only for their own filmmaking career but for other projects as well. For every small role they fill in another's project, that is another entry that can be used for their resume. Visit http://a2viz.com.vn/

Not everybody who is a successful film maker of any level has been to film school, but not everybody who has successfully completed film college will become a successful film maker either. For everybody who has a film college degree, there are those who do not ever make a single film in their entire lives. Simply completing an education of any kind does not guarantee that you will have a career in that field at all, especially in the super competitive fields.

The cost of film school can be very high especially if it is a prestigious school or if it a long distance from the student's home. There are other expenses to be considered, including the cost of the equipment and the learning materials that are needed as well. While this is different from school to school, even the most basic film college can be very costly. In addition to the basic cost of the film college, you also have to figure the investment of your time, energy and creativity as well. It is also important to investigate the school's success rate as well, making sure that the school is actually giving a solid education that will at least boost your chances for filmmaking as a career. There are alternatives to the expensive film college education however, including No Budget Film Making, the low cost alternative to the traditional film school.

Role of Film Editing

We definitely used to enjoy that and get involved in the story and start picturising ourselves in place of some character in the story. We start picturising more and more in our mind as we get involved more into the story. That leads us to believe more and more in the fiction. The same concept applies to the films or movies. The people making the film are trying to express or let's say communicate a specific message to the audience. Of course the medium is rich and it becomes a bit easier than the grandma's process but the essence remains the same, to tell a story in the best possible way.

architectural interpretation (di?n h?a ki?n trúc)

So what exactly is a film? Well a film or movie is again a story told with moving images, hence the term motion picture applies to films. This is achieved by capturing photographic images with cameras. Most of us would have used a camera to capture images in our daily life. It's the same thing. The only difference is in a film the images are captured in sequence. Like a horse galloping captured in a series of photographs to show the full movement. This experiment was done by Eadweard Muybridge in 1877, the first ever motion picture.

He used multiple still cameras to capture how a horse gallops. But It was Edison who invented the first ever film camerato employ moving images called the Kinetograph. In 1890 the first film strip made was dubbed "Strongman Sandow" which was just a guy flexing his muscles. Although before that Edison experimented with two films Monekyshines No. 1 (1890) and Monkeyshines No. 2 (1890). None of the them were meant to be seen by the public as Edison was just trying to test the cylinder of the Kinetograph.

Phew! that's enough of the history for now:D

Computer Animation is also used for making a film or motion picture. The series of images captured by camera or created via animation or visual effects are called frames. Normally it takes about 24 frames to capture or create one second of smooth motion. 24 frames/second is the standard video format for non linear video editing.

The whole process of producing a film is called Film making or film production. This process involves a lot of people to deliver the film from the initial story or idea to a full length motion picture.

Some of them are Scriptwriter, Producer, Director, Cinematographer, Actor, Editor, Compositor and many more. As I said it's a huge team effort and not a piece of cake. Unlike many other art editing is the only one that is unique to film production separating film making from other art forms if compared to photography, theater, directing etc.

So What is Editing?

Editing means "correcting, revising, or adapting" in general. It's very much the same in film making. In film making the process of selecting good shots and later combining them to produce the final film or movie is called Film editing. Editing is the only art that is said to be invisible because when it's done properly the viewer or the consumer gets engaged so deeply that s/he can't even notice the editors work. Film editing can do miracles with a shot. Through film editing we can slow down a scene, speed it up, change the mood, change the point of view anyway in which we want to present. Total control, now that's awesome.

Who is responsible?

The person responsible for the editing job in a movie is called a Film Editor. He normally works with other asst. editors and junior editors to complete the task. Although the whole editing team works for the film storytelling the film editor or the chief editor is the one with huge responsibilities. S/he is almost the second director of the film because s/he is the one who ultimately decides which shots to keep and which to omit. The first assembled film provided by the editors after editing is called the Editor's cut. It's the very first cut before two more cuts(Director's cut and Final cut) producing the final version. The editor works very closely with the film directors to understand what the directors want and deliver the same. Visit A2viz.com.vn/

Why is it necessary?

Well there are many reasons. Let's say, if you got a plate full of different items to eat but you don't like any of them because let's say they are not spicy and you like spicy food, don't you? Now say what will you do? Will you eat it? Certainly not. No matter what kind of food it is you will just keep it aside. It's the same here, if you will not find a movie appealing enough to you than you will simply not see it. The poor producer and financiers will suffer. Editor adds that little bit of spice in needed amount to make the whole film making curry spicy or appealing to the viewer. So that's the kind of responsibility a editor possess and that makes an Editor really necessary to a film making process.
